My family is the Herpesviridae family.
Most people get me as children.
I'm much more serious when I first infect you as an adult.
I pick one or two nerves and only live in those.
My primary infection is called chicken pox.
You get itchy spots all over.
I also cause fever and rash.
My recurring infections are called shingles.
I give you big, red, painful blisters, but only on the parts of skin that connect to my special nerve.
This is, by far, the cutest microbe you've ever drawn. As an immunological assay will confirm, I've already adopted it!
ReplyDeleteI'd suppose most people have in their lives. And, indeed, an adorable microbe.
