Pasturella multocida
Hi, I'm P. multocida.
I am a Gram Negative rod.
I'm found in animal's mouths, especially cats and dogs.
I get into you in animal bites, like deep punctures.
I cause aggressive infections of skin.
It can creep all the way down to your tendons, joints and bones.
Actually, most bite wounds are polymicrobial.
That means it's not just me in there causing infection, lots of different bacteria are with me as well.
I'm just the most common.

I,ve heard Madonnas interested.

I've hosted that germ! It was hard to get rid of and played hob with my joint mobility.
This is a very interesting blog. very cool. I love science and biology.
Love the pictures! They really give each germ its own distinct personality.

Your drawings are rad. (I'm assuming you draw them yourself) They seriously make me want to adopt your microbes. :P

Very interesting page! Cool pix too...they're awsome!
Where can I adopt a microbe!
I live in the Detroit metro area. Michigan has serious economic issues and only when the people pull together can the problems be overcome. It’s going to take everyone not just democrat or republican. A great place to find out about local Detroit news is GROW DETROIT
Please use a CORRECT spelling for this bug that is PastEurella multocida (named by the name of famous microbiologist of 18th century, Luis Pasteur)
